Urban Impact Ministries is celebrating 20 years of life-changing service in Central City New Orleans. Reverend Marshall Truehill, a local activist, introduced Glen to the Melpomene and Calliope housing developments. The needs were vast. As an immediate response Glen started showing up with footballs and baseballs to play games in the grassy areas.

Kids Wanna Help® is an all volunteer run non-profit corporation that was formed in 2007 under the direction of Mary-Brent (then age 12) and Beverly (then age 9) Brown. The purpose of Kids Wanna Help® is to give children an opportunity to raise money for charities through fun activities that build confidence and self esteem and encourage a lifetime of social and community responsibility.

IWES is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) community-based organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana. IWES is dedicated to improving the physical, mental, and spiritual health and quality of life for women of color and their families, especially those who are socio-economically disadvantaged.
